Giovanni Fumu

Born in Italy, Giovanni graduated in film studies between Bologna University and Sorbonne University in Paris and also studied filmmaking in Czech Republic. After shooting various short films in Europe, he joined 37th Degree and worked as a commercial director for prestigious clients such as Samsonite, Spyder, Kia Motors, Samsung and LG Mobile. Giovanni’s short film “Good News” was selected in competiton at the Venice Film Festival and was screened and awarded in other important festivals worldwide while his first feature film “Abroad” premiered at the 2023 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival where it won the Audience Award and the Best Actor Award. Giovanni is currently developing his second feature “Sita Lives” and he constantly works on new ideas for the commercial and original content department of 37th Degree in NYC.
